Facts
about our Program (infants–3 years)
|
|
| • |
80+
volunteers care for an average of 180 children each week. |
| • |
The
children are divided into 5 age levels: infants (0-6 months),
crawlers (6-12 months), walkers (12-24 months), 2-year-olds,
and 3-year-olds. |
| • |
There
is a Sonbeam coach in each room during the hour.
He/she is in charge of checking for proper ratios, providing
a childproof and secure environment
and communicating any concerns to the staff in her room. |
| • |
Each
child receives a numbered nametag. If your child needs you
during the hour, the number will be displayed on the side
screens in the auditorium. |
| • |
A
fun, interactive curriculum is taught in
the 3’s rooms where they sing and teach about God’s
love in relevant, age-appropriate ways each week. |
| • |
A
fun, age-appropriate, hands-on curriculum is taught in the
2's and Walkers rooms. |
Help us provide the BEST hour each week...
|
|
| • |
Upon
your first visit, fill out the registration form. |
| • |
At
each subsequent visit, register your child so we can locate
you if needed and we have a record of your child’s
attendance. |
| • |
Label
all diaper bags, pacifiers, bottles/sippy cups and blankets
with your child’s name. |
| • |
In
consideration of others, please do not bring your child if
he/she is sick, vomiting or has a fever. |
| • |
Return
the numbered nametag to claim your child at the end of the
hour. Children will only be released to parents with the
numbered tag. |
| • |
Please
feel free to ask any questions. Check on your child anytime.
Make any suggestions or comments! We are here to serve you. |

| MOPS (Mothers
of Preschoolers) |
| |
MOPS
is a group that gives mothers of preschoolers an opportunity
to build relationships with other mothers in the same stage
of life. A variety of speakers will address topics that will
help us to grow as moms, wives and friends. We also have
a great group of women who care for our children so you can
enjoy your time with other adults. |
Child
Dedications |
| |
Child
Dedication at WCC is a public affirmation of a parent’s
dedication to raise children in the “training and instruction
of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4). It also confirms the
congregation’s commitment to love and support them.
Prior to the dedication, parents attend a presentation which
offers resources and information to better equip them to
understand the commitment they are making. Dedications take
place twice a year. |
