Kids in Sonlight will be collecting canned food items until the end of May for their Spring Service Project. From April to May, students will be asked to fill a grocery bag with non-perishable food to help Combined Community Services stock the shelves for the summer months. Then, mark your calendars for June 1, when Sonlight staff, volunteers, and parents will “mob” CCS with all the donations and help organize the food pantry. Pick up a grocery bag in your child’s Sonlight class and return it by May 26 to help with this fun, yet simple serving project.
